The Lone Star Saloon and Restaurant was one of many located on old Front Street in Dodge City, KS. Owned by Charles Heinz, his saloon was named to cater to the Texas cattle trade. In 1885, it was renamed to the Delmonico Restaurant; both were famous for serving fine oysters.
